I realized I haven't posted anything for awhile. I am still writing and I already have the cover for my next book. I just have to finish editing it. I've also got the rough draft done on the next Destroyer book but that one needs a lot of editing still.

Long Time
It's been a long time since I've posted an update. I am still writing (For
anyone who cares). I have a total of 9 books written and in various stages of
editing.
I'll start this off with excuses to why it's been so long since my last
book came out. The biggest reason is: I hate editing. Reading the same book
(That I wrote) over and over again is the most boring thing I can do (And 3
years with very little reviews on my books hasn't left me very motivated. Though
I do see people reading and buying it at least every month). However, I know
editing is important because each time I edit a book it gets better. More
details are added, characters are fleshed out and so on. However, that doesn't
keep it from being boring and I will do whatever I can to procrastinate doing
it. (On the flip side writing is so much fun. Thinking about how my characters
can overcome whatever insane and cruel thing I decided to throw at them is truly
entertaining.)
Another reason is that my sister (My main editor) started being a
nurse right at the start of Covid 19 so she was too busy trying to find a job
(No one wanted to hire new nurses for some reason even though they said there
was a shortage) and then the long days of learning the job left her beat. (At
least that is her excuse. She has only read the first 3 of my books even though
she has had the 4th one for about a year). And then this last year I've been
doing some remodeling on my house (It's almost a hundred years old... well over
eighty) and it needed some major work done to it but I've still kept up with my
goal of writing 2 books a year so yay for that! I just haven't been editing
them.
For those who are interested (I'm grouping them together by series not
release date):
1 & 2) First I'm going through
Diverging Destines: Villain and
Diverging Destines: Hero for one last edit before I put them in
print. The rest of my books will be going live in print at the start.
3) Then in
the Diverging Destines series I have
Diverging Destines: Shorts: Book 1
Rêveur Research Building. This is a collection of short stories of some people who were inside the
Rêveur Research Building when it exploded in book 1 of the Hero and Villain
books. This book is a way to introduce the characters who will be in book 2
without having to give their origin stories twice (In both Hero and Villain).
4
& 5) Book 2 of both Diverging Destines: Villain and
Diverging Destines: Hero are written. So, look forward to that.
They will be out as soon as I'm done editing and have the cover pictures.
That
is everything for the superhero books. That makes up 5 of the 9 books that I
have already written (At least the rough draft for. Though I'm pretty sure the
Short Stories and both Book 2s are on the first draft.)
6)
Destroyer Suspect is my next book that will be coming out. It is
in the final edit before I can submit it for print and Kindle. It's a fantasy
book with dragons, griffins, unicorns and magic. It's a world in which magic
only Destroys and being able to use magic is a crime as it Destroys a full
sphere around you. If you try to hold it back, the power just builds and builds
until eventually you Destroy your entire village when you can't hold it in
anymore. But for some reason Avus is special. He can choose what he wants to
Destroy but the soldiers don't care. They chase him down even in spite of all
the irregularities surrounding his first major use of power. He is forced to run
his way through the kingdom to survive. Getting captured my Mercenaries and
making a few ...interesting friends along the way.
7) Book 2 in this series is
also finished with the rough draft. and I've even started a bit on book 3.
8) I
don't quite have a title for this one yet. It's a book about traveling through
multiple dimensions looking for a friend. This one should come out spring of
next year (I hope. This is the one my sister has had for a while now). Cover art
has already begun. (Hint hint you have already met one of the characters from
this book and if you look closely, you will also find them in the
Destroyer Suspect book too. [I hesitate to put this in here but
only 6 people have looked at my last post and it's been up for over two years so
I'll leave it.])
9) The last book is a reincarnated into another world with RPG
elements book. LitRPG is the genre, I think. I've decided to go with a cheat
ability that I've never seen before (And one I would probably pick myself if
given the option). It would actually make it more of a hard mode if you really
think about it. More details about this will come later. This is the last book
that I've written that I only finished about a month ago.
There you have it. That is what I've been up to the last few years. More stuff will be coming soon so look forward to it.

Villain Cover
The cover for Diverging Destinies: Villain is finally done and uploaded. Yay! The cover at was done by Zandria Fink: https://www.deviantart.com/ztwin . She did a wonderful job! Because of this momentous occasion I'm putting it on sale from Sep. 27th to Oct. 3rd for $0.99.
A little more information about what's going on:
Zandria has already started on the cover for Diverging Destinies: Hero and I hope that cover will be updated soon.
After the cover is done I plan on getting print versions of Hero and Villain out. I'm hoping by Feb. 2020 (Since it takes some time to get prof copies and all that stuff). Pre-orders might go up in Dec.
My next two books are fully written. I'm simply editing them some more and waiting on covers before they get published. My hope is Spring and Summer of 2020.
The first book is a fantasy, currently going to be a trilogy, that I'm still calling Destroyer for now:
Magic only destroys. Everything in a perfect sphere around the magic user simply disappears. Everyone knows it can't be controlled and those with magic must be killed for the safety of everyone else. By law all Destroyers are to be executed, whenever one is found. Avus for some strange reason can control his magic, causing only what he wants to disappear, but the soldiers
after him don't care. They want to hunt him down and execute him.
The second book is a sci-fi. Right now I'm calling it Dimensions. It needs a lot more editing than the Destroyer book. I've got to give more thought to a synopsis but it's about jumping through different dimensions trying to find a friend and trying to figure out what's going on when the person she finds isn't the person she was expecting.
Soon I will be starting on writing book 2 of Diverging Destinies: Hero and Diverging Destinies: Villain. So, I hope to have those out sometime at the end of 2020.

Print Books and What's Next
Diverging Destines: Hero and Diverging Destines: Villain will be getting print books soon. I'm waiting on a final cover art I will hopefully be
getting soon. I don't have an ETA but I'm hoping by the end of February.
I haven't been idle since I published my two Diverging Destines books. I've finished my first book in a new series that is tentatively called Destroyers. It's set
in a world where magic only destroys and cannot be controlled. Everything in a perfect sphere around the magic user simply disappears. Those cursed with magic are doomed to destroy more and more of the world around them. By law all Destroyers are to be executed, whenever one is found. Avus for some strange reason can control his magic, causing only what he wants to disappear, but the soldiers
after him don't care. They want to hunt him down and execute him.
It should be ready to publish in a couple of months. Just editing right now. I have also stared writing another book and after I finish these two I plan on starting on the second books for
each of Diverging Destines.

Books on sale through Dec. 29th
My books are on Amazon. Until Saturday the 29th of December they are on sale for $0.99 each. Diverging Destinies:Hero http://a.co/d/cRMCHRZ and Diverging Destinies: Villain http://a.co/d/6iOlgmT .
What would happen if one small thing in your life was different?
What if a coin toss came up tails instead of heads?
Can such a little thing make such a big difference?
What if a coin toss came up tails instead of heads?
Can such a little thing make such a big difference?
Diverging Destinies: Hero and Diverging Destinies: Villain are set in parallel universes. The two worlds are completely identical until a single flip of a coin. This coin toss is the pivotal point at which Ray’s destiny diverges and he is taken down two entirely different paths. The simplest of choices changes everything.
Hero:
Ray and his sister Rose couldn’t agree on where to go to lunch. Rose wanted Ice Cream but Ray wanted pizza. Rose’s daughter Lilly came up with the brilliant idea of flipping a coin to decide. That way they both had an even chance of winning. Rose won the coin toss and this simple action required Ray to gain super strength to save his sister and niece. Now his best friend has invited him to join one of the top superhero teams in the world: Oracle’s Guard. Life couldn’t be better for Ray but unfortunately, just before Ray’s Emergence, an explosion caused a powerful evil to be unleashed upon the world.
Villain:
Ray and his sister Rose couldn’t agree on where to go to lunch. Rose wanted Ice Cream but Ray wanted pizza. Rose’s daughter Lilly came up with the brilliant idea of flipping a coin to decide. That way they both had an even chance of winning. Ray won the coin toss and this simple action required him to save himself by merging into the shadows. But he didn’t know how to use his new found powers and became trapped in the shadows for several days. Now hes been labeled a villain thanks to a reporter who hates Supers. If that wasn’t enough to ruin his week the explosion that caused Ray’s Emergence unleashed a powerful evil upon the world.
It doesn't matter which book is read first. Flip a coin to decide your fate.
